Accounting ManagerLocation: Manassas, VA (Onsite)Assignment type: Permanent HireCompensation: $100,000 - $130,000 / AnnuallyWork Schedule: M-F 9-5Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliationsOversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reportingPrepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and internal reporting packagesMaintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policiesMonitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activitiesSupervise and support accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environmentAssist with audits, compliance activities, and external reporting requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, workflows, and internal controlsPartner with leadership to provide financial analysis and operational reporting supportSupport ERP/accounting system processes and ensure reporting accuracyAssist with special projects and operational initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required5+ years of progressive accounting experience requiredPrior Accounting Manager or senior-level accounting leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principlesExperience with financial reporting and month-end close processesERP/accounting systems experience requiredStrong Excel skills including reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysisExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsReliable, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented work styleAbility to work onsite in Manassas, VAAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
