About the Opportunity

Robert Half is partnering with a publicly traded, global manufacturing organization headquartered in Denver that is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support critical accounting operations, year-end activities, and several strategic finance transformation initiatives.

This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys operating in a complex, multi-entity environment while also contributing to process improvement, ERP optimization, and shared services initiatives. The position offers significant visibility across domestic and international operations and the opportunity to play a key role in ongoing organizational transformation.

This is an onsite position requiring five days per week in the Denver office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting support
• Manage and support accounting for fixed assets, lease accounting under ASC 842, intercompany transactions, cash, and general ledger activities
• Partner with finance and accounting teams across multiple entities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Support internal and external audit requests, control documentation, and compliance initiatives
• Assist with process improvement projects focused on accounting operations, reporting enhancements, and internal controls
• Collaborate with global stakeholders supporting the transition and expansion of shared service center operations
• Help standardize accounting processes and controls across multiple ERP environments
• Contribute to ERP optimization initiatives and future system transformation efforts, including SAP and S/4HANA readiness activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant general ledger and month-end close responsibilities
• Strong experience with lease accounting (ASC 842)
• Experience with fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and complex account reconciliations
• Background working in a large, multi-entity organization
• Experience supporting audits and internal controls
• Advanced ERP experience required, preferably SAP
• Experience with Oracle or other large enterprise ERP platforms will also be considered
• CPA preferred but not required
• Strong Excel and analytical skills

• Manufacturing or industrial industry experience
• Shared services or global accounting operations exposure
• Process improvement, transformation, or ERP implementation experience
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environments

The salary range for this position is $50 to $75. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
