Accounting Clerk

Pay Range: $24-$26

About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The Accounting Clerk will gain exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting processes while working alongside experienced accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
• Prepare invoices, post payments, and maintain financial records
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with bank reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities and journal entry preparation
• Maintain vendor and customer account information
• Assist with data entry, filing, and reporting within the accounting system
• Collaborate with Staff Accountants and accounting leadership on special projects and financial reporting support

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an Accounting Clerk, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Bookkeeping role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills
