Partner, Accounting & Finance Permanent Placement Recruiter in Denver, CO -

Are you a hands-on accounting pro who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments? I’m partnering with a rapidly scaling SaaS company in Denver that’s looking to add a Senior Accountant to their finance team.

This is a high-visibility role with ownership over the close process, payroll, AP/AR, and financial reporting. You’ll help strengthen internal controls, support audits, and implement scalable systems as the company grows.

What You’ll Do

• Own payroll , AP/AR , and monthly close processes
• Prepare internal reporting packages and board-level financials
• Lead audit prep and serve as the point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition (ASC 606 compliance)
• Improve close timelines and automate recurring reporting
• Partner with business leaders to support better budget visibility
• Evaluate and implement new accounting systems and tools

What They’re Looking For

• 4–6 years of accounting experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge; ASC 606 required
• Proficient in Excel; Sage Intacct a plus
• SaaS or startup/growth-stage experience strongly preferred
• CPA is a plus, but not required
• Someone who genuinely loves accounting and thrives in it
