Account Resolution SpecialistThe Account Resolution Specialist is responsible for locating and contacting businesses and/or personal guarantors in an attempt to secure payment of outstanding debts in accordance with applicable regulatory policies as well as Weltman guidelines and client standards.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:Requests and/or mails form letters to businesses and/or personal guarantors to notify and encourage payment of delinquent accounts.Confers with businesses and/or personal guarantors by telephone in an attempt to determine reason for overdue payment and make an attempt for payment resolutionCalculates payment arrangements and negotiates settlements which may require supervisor/client approvalDocuments information about the financial status of the business and/or personal guarantors, status of collection efforts and performs data entry to update notes within the firm's computer systemContacts businesses, personal guarantors and attorneys to provide status updates and request/supply additional information and documentation.Obtains information to handle payments by phoneConducts searches utilizing various skip vendor tools as well as internet and public record sources to locate business and/or personal guarantor contact informationMakes decision for next activity on the file and monitors for any required documentsEnsures all available options are utilized to achieve payment of debtHandles files in accordance with Weltman and client standardsMaintains a high level of professionalism in all interactionsCompletes all required training applicable to the assigned positionAdditional duties as requested or requiredQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)1-3 years relevant experience in collections, accounts receivable or related industryGoal driven to achieve top performance on monthly revenue goalsAccurate typing and data entry skillsKnowledge of basic computer operation, including internet researchBasic knowledge of ExcelMaintains composure in difficult situationsCommunicates effectively verbally and in writingMust be able to pass a detailed background check and drug screenCompensation and Benefits:The expected compensation is $18.29 hr. - $22.04 hr. and potential uncapped monthly bonusUncapped monthly bonus opportunities (average annual potential bonus $21,000 after 1 year of employment)Paid Time Off (PTO) - 16 days annually + 9 Company paid holidaysBilingual is a plus (Spanish Speaking)Competitive benefits - Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Parental Leave, Life and Disability Insurance and more.
