Job TitleThis position would be the lead responsible for maintaining the plant layout and carrier designs in 3D.Familiarity with client assembly project standards are required.This person should be a self-starter and be capable of making accurate field observations, measurements and converting information supplied from other vendors into the overall composite plant layout.ResponsibilitiesMaintain integration of supplier provided 3D drawings and integrate into a plant layout using scanned point cloud data to identify interferences and safety clearance concernsOversee timely and organized submission of all 3D CAD drawings on the ACC provided to client by suppliersDesign in 3d carriers and conveyor equipment as required for program reviewThis individual will report to the client project managerRequirementsMinimum (10) years of 3D CAD design in automotive manufacturing applicationsMust have an in-depth understanding of all conveyor and automotive product carrier designMust demonstrate experience with utilizing 3D point cloud environments in a design workflow.We offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
