The selected candidate will develop software engineering solutions for Orion's Electrical Ground Support Equipment Software team. The candidate will apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop, enhance, and/or troubleshoot software that performs Big Data management.EDUCATION:Minimum requirement is BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Software), Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited collegeYEARS OF EXPERIENCE:5 YearsSKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS: Required Skills:Extensive experience with Big DataExtensive experience with systems integrationExperience with Apache Hadoop or AWSExperience with relational databasesExpertise in Java full-stack developmentKnowledgeable in PythonKnowledge of Telemetry systems and processingExperience with anomaly investigation and resolutionWillingness for off-hours support to ensure lab productivityAbility to contribute within a team-oriented environment to achieve long-range goals and objectivesAbility to assist users and lab managers with data analysisSolid written or verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.Must be a US citizen due to program requirements.SECURITY CLEARANCE:UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDPublic Trust/NACI/BadgingSALARY RAGE:Approximately $95-135k per year depending on experience, and we offer a full benefit package.Positions with All Points are Full-time, Direct, and we offer a full benefit package.
