This role is ideal for hard working individuals with excellent skills in managing Zscaler ZIA, SASE, on-premises proxy/web filtering appliances, and troubleshooting. Ideally, you should have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure high availability of customer's IT infrastructure.
- Perform daily health checks and routine scheduled maintenance.
- Architect and build new Zscaler Proxy infrastructure for M&D.
- Troubleshoot and take ownership of incidents until resolved.
- Complete service requests and execute changes assigned.
- Ability to work in a team as well as an individual contributor.
- Escalate issues/incidents to the next level and follow up until closure.
- Ensure that the SLAs for each task assigned are met.
- Review system logs, identify potential issues, and participate in root cause investigations.
- Ensure that configuration backup of all systems/devices is up to date.
- Review logs, monitoring data, and reports to identify capacity bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
- Generate various reports required for operations management.
- Keep tickets up to date as per response SLA in ITSM (SNOW) tool.
- Contribute knowledge articles and update them in a timely manner when required.
Technology Experience:
- Hands-on experience in implementations and operations of proxies such as Zscaler ZIA.
- Knowledge of SASE products like Cisco Umbrella; other SWG experience will be an added advantage.
- Troubleshooting skills or good knowledge of SASE and on-premises based proxy solutions.
- Strong knowledge in architecting, engineering, solutioning, and integration of SASE products.
- Good knowledge of OSI layer model and TCP/IP, TLS/SSL.
- Strong knowledge in client operating systems such as MAC, Windows, and Linux.
- Troubleshooting and fixing web and client-based applications.
- Understanding of any ticket-driven process.
- Performance management and optimization.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and reporting.
- Deep knowledge in Wireshark analysis and web header trace.
