Responsibilities
- Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
- Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
- Apply Zero Trust principles to network and cybersecurity design decisions, including identity, access, segmentation, visibility, and policy enforcement.
- Help align modernization efforts with DoW cybersecurity compliance, operational needs, and enterprise architecture direction.
- Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Technical training, certification(s), or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.
- Technical Skills: Zero Trust architecture; cybersecurity engineering; identity and access concepts; segmentation; policy enforcement; DoW compliance.
- Security Clearance Level: Active Secret.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem‑solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
- Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. DoW 8570/8140‑aligned cybersecurity certification or comparable professional certification.

Salary
Likely salary range: $153,000 - $207,000. Compensation will depend on experience, geographic location and contractual requirements and may fall outside this range.
