This role focuses on building strong relationships with youth and serving as a consistent, positive presence in their lives.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and facilitating engaging, age-appropriate activities for youth ages 6–17Build positive relationships and serve as a strong role model within the Club and communityEncourage participation and create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environmentProvide guidance that reinforces respect, responsibility, and positive decision-makingSupport program events, outreach efforts, and family engagement opportunitiesAssist with daily operations, program setup, and administrative tasksCollaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality programmingQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working with youth preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPatient, dependable, and able to connect with youth from diverse backgroundsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license preferredAvailability for occasional evenings or weekends as neededAbout Boys & Girls Club of Hawai'iBoys & Girls Club of Hawai'i is dedicated to enabling all young people—especially those who need us most—to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
