Afterschool Youth Program Coordinator
Basic Responsibilities:
- Facilitate check-in and check-out of Afterschool Youth Program Students.
- Facilitate a variety of activities with students after school.
- Facilitate students in a variety of break-out spaces throughout the community center.
- Enforce program policies and rules.
- With the support of the Education Coordinator, plan a variety of activities for students.
- Must be available during program hours Monday thru Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm.
Previous Work Experience:
- Must have experience working with youth in a formal and/or informal setting.
Education and Special Training and Skills:
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Archery Instructor Level 1 or higher optional for specific programming.
- Must have high school diploma or higher.
Starting Date & Work Schedule:
ASAP 10-20 hours per week on a schedule agreed upon between the applicant and the Recreation Specialist.
