Key Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of experience in trucking, logistics, warehousing, yard operations, dispatch, or a related field preferred.
Strong computer and data-entry skills, including Microsoft Office/Excel.
YMS or TMS experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Must have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable tracking trailer and equipment numbers.
Must be comfortable working both in an office and outside in a trucking yard.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Job Duties:

Conduct daily yard inventory checks of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
Track trailer locations, identification numbers, and equipment status.
Gather paperwork and documentation from drivers.
Check incoming and outgoing driver information and verify required documentation.
Enter and maintain accurate information in yard/transportation tracking systems.
Communicate instructions and yard locations to drivers.
Coordinate trailer movements with drivers and yard personnel.
Report equipment damage, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies.
Occasionally assist with simple dashcam installation on trucks as needed.
