X-Ray Technologist

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 or 10-hour shifts, typically 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered X-Ray Technologist to join a growing imaging team in Newnan, GA. This is a great opportunity for both experienced technologists and new graduates who are already registered and looking to establish their career with a supportive team.

The department offers a Monday-Friday schedule, a strong team environment, and opportunities to expand your skills into additional imaging modalities as you gain experience.

Schedule & Call

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• 8 or 10-hour shifts
• Typical schedule is 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Rotating call shared among the technologists, typically one week every 4 weeks
• Call is limited to after-hours call-ins, weekends, and holidays
• Time-and-a-half when called in
• 2-hour minimum for call-ins

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations safely and efficiently
• Operate radiographic equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process
• Follow radiation safety standards and established protocols
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT Registered in Radiography (R) required
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• BLS certification required or obtainable according to employer requirements
• Strong communication and patient-care skills

This position offers the opportunity to cross-train into MRI, CT, IR, and other imaging areas once you have established yourself in the department and gained a solid foundation of experience.
