Role Overview: This position involves performing diagnostic x-ray procedures, including body mechanics and patient movement, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The technician operates imaging equipment, develops films, prepares the exam room, and may perform Medical Assistant duties.

Role Overview: This position involves performing diagnostic x-ray procedures, including body mechanics and patient movement, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The technician operates imaging equipment, develops films, prepares the exam room, and may perform Medical Assistant duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times effectively
  • Assist with patient check-in/out and obtain vital signs and medical history
  • Support patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision
  • Perform radiology procedures ensuring quality and safety standards
  • Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions
  • Follow clinical, safety, and regulatory procedures for patient care and radiation protection
  • Complete accurate documentation of patient visits and procedures
  • Maintain current licensure and certification, and enhance imaging skills

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Certification
  • AR State X-Ray License
  • ARRT Certification preferred
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus
