Responsibilities
The role involves:
- Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
- Preparing exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
- Performing nursing duties such as measuring vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and other clinical tasks.
- Monitoring patients, charting, reporting changes, and taking necessary actions.
- Operating X-Ray equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Explaining procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort during scans.
- Ensuring imaging equipment is in proper working condition.
- Maintaining supplies and equipment.
- Assisting patients using Virtual Medicine Providers.
- Completing and forwarding patient charts accurately and timely.
- Adhering to the company's core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality care, and friendliness.
- Maintaining positive relations with clients and colleagues.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements for Centers of Excellence
- Completing preceptor training for onboarding and training new hires.
- Engaging with Learning and Development for onboarding and training.
- Welcoming new employees, conducting tours, and overviewing clinic processes.
- Establishing training plans and schedules, and communicating progress.
- Submitting evaluations of trainees' progress.
- Completing final evaluations and proofs of proficiency.
Experience and Education
- At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic or Urgent Care setting.
- For Indiana residents: Possession of a State License and ARRT License for Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
License: Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist License, ARRT Certification, Full Scope State License.
