Immediate need for a talented X-Ray Technician / X-Ray Technologist. This is a 06weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA(Onsite).

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Length:6 weeks
• Shift:8hr Days – Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Expected Hours:40 hours per week$2,000/week for 40 hours!– great pay for experienced X-Ray Techs!
• Level 1 Trauma Center– work in one of the busiest and most respected trauma centers in the Southeast – build incredible experience!
• Monday–Friday day shift– 7:30am–4pm, enjoy your evenings!
• High-volume, fast-paced environment– comfortable working ED, inpatient, portables, and OR
• Teaching opportunity– work with students and perform competency check-offs – build your mentoring skills!

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• X-ray tech comfortable working ED, inpatient, portables, and OR
• Must be willing to learn pediatrics and neonates
• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment
• Evaluate images for technical quality
• EMR: EPIC and Sectra
• Equipment: GE, Phillips, and CareStream
• Assigned to a department by day but expected to float if needed
• Will work with students at Grady and perform competency check-offs for students
• Mask fit required
• On-call required
• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience OR 2–3 years at a large bed trauma Level 2 facility
• Graduate from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved program
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Active state licensure (if applicable)
• EPIC and Sectra EMR experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• Floating required
• Locals are accepted – 1-mile radius rule applies
