Responsible for operating various medical imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography.
Supports departmental objectives and creates a conducive environment for achieving operational goals. Performs at least three imaging modalities regularly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology (required); Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
- Minimum of three years' technical experience (preferred).
- Current radiologic technologist license in the practice state (required).
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent (required).
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Certification in at least one advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, PET) and competency in at least one other modality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT, and ultrasound examinations competently.
- Safely transport and position patients, test medical equipment, and prepare contrast agents.
- Perform mobile imaging and other related duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
- Adherence to safety protocols, including equipment checks and patient transfer safety.
- Compliance with vaccination and facility-specific licensing policies.
