WXOU - Promotions Director at Oakland University

WXOU is the soundtrack of Oakland University. Every year, we put on live radio shows, podcasts, news articles, concerts, and much more.

Responsibilities:

• Create the face of WXOU through our social media presence
• Communicate to listeners via DMs and forward questions to other departments within WXOU
• Create and maintain PSAs on air
• Maintain balance between fun and professional media presence

Qualifications:

• Creative
• Strong leadership skills
• Organized
• Familiar with social media
• A cool person ????

Requirements:

• Expected weekly commitment: 5 hrs minimum
• Familiar with social media platforms and algorithms
