Mercy Home Health Care has a need for a Full-time RN WOCN Consultant.
This position is based from our South Philadelphia branch office and will support the City of Philadelphia.

Responsibilities
- The WOCN is responsible to provide wound care to the patients of Mercy Home Health.
- Coordinate treatment to provide comprehensive wound care assessments and plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for patients.
- Provides patient, family, and staff education regarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces, dressing selections, and other therapies.
- Current RN licensure with WOCN required or Certified prepared wound, ostomy, and continence nurse (WOCN).
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing education program
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of PA
- One (3) years experience as a professional care nurse
- Must have current Driver’s license and reliable transportation
