The Wound Care Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care and is responsible for the implementation and management of care for draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, skin breakdown and incontinence. The Wound Care Nurse will coordinate communication with the interdisciplinary team on patient wound status and barriers to discharge.
This role includes assimilation and reporting of performance data and productivity statistics for quality management and will contribute to discharge
