As a Wound Care Nurse with ALIYA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care to our patients, promoting healing, and improving overall health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound care treatment plans in accordance with established standards of care
- Conduct wound inspections and assess wound status, documenting findings and progress
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including wound cleansing, dressing changes, and other interventions as needed
- Educate patients and family members on wound care and prevention strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care outcomes
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Current RN license in the state of Illinois
- Certification in wound care (CWCN, CWS, or CWOCN) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and wound care software
