Overview
Lincoln Community Church is a thriving, Bible-based congregation in Lincoln, CA. We have a heart for and a focused ministry to our senior adult community and our growing active 55+ community that surrounds Lincoln Community Church.
We average 350 in Sunday attendance. We are prayerfully seeking a passionate and experienced worship director to join our staff leadership team. Our candidate will possess the spiritual maturity and musical leadership necessary to build up a healthy worship ministry while honoring our existing strengths and traditions.
Responsibilities
- Along with the pastoral staff, collaborate to plan Sunday worship sets that blend great hymns and great praise choruses with seamless transitions
- Incorporate instruments, praise teams, and special music into worship services
- Skilled at leading worship vocally and instrumentally
- Able to prepare and lead worship for Special Services such as Memorial Services, Holiday Services, and patriotic services
- Comfortable leading with verbal transitions and prayers from the platform
- Skilled in arranging and incorporating organ, piano, and other instruments to create and lead blended worship services.

- A follower of Jesus who understands and adheres to the Biblical qualifications for leadership outlined in 1Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:6-9; 1Peter 5: 1-4; Galatians 5: 22-26, and affirms LCC’s belief statements
- An authentic public and private worshipper who worships in Spirit and truth
- A Team Player and Team Developer who fosters a positive environment
- An appreciation for both Classic and Contemporary worship styles
- Desire to gather and connect an inter-denominational church family with God through Sunday morning corporate worship
- Heart to lead senior adults as well as a growing active 55+ population that surrounds Lincoln Community Church
- Understands and respects the challenges and opportunities of leading worship in a church, casting a new vision for the next generation
Position Details
The position is 25 hours per week and reports directly to the Senior Pastor.
