Automation TesterFuture Duties and Responsibilities:Regression Tester duties:Responsible for analysis of the requirements, creating scenarios, designing test cases, test execution and reporting resultsPrioritizing and execution of automated regression test cases in an agile environmentInvolved in identifying end to end scenarios for automation and designing test cases and tracing them to pertinent business requirementsResponsible for debugging and execution of automated tests and peer review of test casesResponsible for analyzing existing scripts and identify feasibility for automationWork and communicate with product owners, test leads and developers in order to set and meet quality standardsTrack task management on Microsoft Planner overseeing assignments to development and functional resources within project team, other agency departments and at 3rd party vendorCoordinate, plan, and host working group sessionsRequired Qualifications:Required qualifications to be successful in this role:Proficient in Worksoft Certify version 12 or newer5 years of Quality assurance experience in creating, executing automation scripts using Worksoft Certify including utilities like execution manager2+ years of experience in test management tools - Microsoft Azure DevOpsExperience in analyzing requirements, test estimation, requirements traceability and test planning3 years of experience in performing different types of testing including web testing, API testing, integration testing, end to end testing, regression and smoke testingProficient in testing web services and API as part of system integration testingDesired Qualifications:Department of Transportation experience in CA, FL, NY, TX and/or UT preferredExcellent communication skillsAttention to detailAnalytical mind and problem-solving aptitudeStrong organizational skillsFamiliarity with agile frameworks
