Workplace Services Senior Engineer

About the Role

This role is responsible for the design, implementation, support and continuous improvement of IRONMAN's collaboration capabilities and global network and cloud network infrastructure environment. It provides technical leadership across Microsoft Azure, enterprise networking, SD-WAN, secure access, Microsoft Teams Voice, Teams Rooms, infrastructure automation and modernisation initiatives. It works closely with IT, Security, vendors and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and reliable technology solutions supporting IRONMAN's worldwide operations, and reports to the Workplace Services Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support Microsoft Azure networking and infrastructure services, including Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, network security groups, VPN Gateways, Azure Firewall, Bastion and related services.
• Support cloud migration, disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives, and develop and maintain Azure standards, governance, documentation and automation.
• Architect and support global WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN and internet connectivity, including Meraki security appliances, switching, wireless infrastructure and site-to-site VPN connectivity.
• Support routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, network segmentation and performance optimisation, troubleshoot complex connectivity and infrastructure issues across global locations, support data centre networking, connectivity and infrastructure modernisation
• And manage internet edge connectivity and cloud networking platforms.
• Implement and maintain secure remote access solutions
• Support Microsoft Global Secure Access, Conditional Access and Zero Trust initiatives
• Collaborate with Security Operations teams on infrastructure hardening and threat mitigation
• Participate in security reviews, audits and compliance activities
• And manage relationships with the data centre and managed service provider responsible for data centre firewalls.
• Administer Microsoft Teams Phone, Auto Attendants, Call Queues and voice-related services
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms and conference room technology across global office locations
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot collaboration devices, room systems and audiovisual integrations
• And maintain documentation and operational standards for collaboration technologies.
• Develop PowerShell and Python scripts and automation solutions to streamline infrastructure operations, standardise deployments through reusable frameworks and best practices, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and reliability through automation.

Workplace

• Hybrid role based out of the Tampa, Florida office, with three days in office and two days remote.
