We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and detail orientated design professional with a passion for workplace design to join our team as a Test Fit Program Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of this program.DescriptionAs a Workplace Test Fit Program Manager, you will be focused on leading and developing the test fit program for Workplace.
You will work closely with partners across the business, including Real Estate and Space Planning, to access space utilization and propose functional as well as creative design solutions.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the oversight and management of all test fits for Places Workplace projects worldwideLead the test fit process for new workplace locations, expansions, and renovationsOversee external partners to develop and execute a program for preliminary architectural test fits, which influence critical business decisionsPrepare and present business cases with test fit recommendations to leadershipDevelop and maintain metrics and reporting related to space types and utilizationMaintain an open dialogue with internal stakeholders, cross functional partners, and external parties to ensure project meets all established parametersContribute to the development of space planning standards and guidelines for workplaceUtilize knowledge to support the development of future workplace space typologiesConduct programming and utilization studies with partners, providing recommendations for space efficiency and employee engagementMaintain a library of test fits and develop tools to increase consistency and efficiencyStay up-to-date on current workplace trends and best practices, incorporating them into test fit plans to create innovative and functional office spacesShare lessons learned and provide feedback/suggestionsMinimum Qualifications10+ Years of proven experience in space planning, test fitting, design management, architecture, or related industry experience working with cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to oversee external partners to develop and execute a global programStrong communication and collaboration skills with ability to develop strong working relationship across business groups and key stakeholdersExperienced in developing comprehensive presentations and documentation packages with excellent graphic verbal, written, and presentation skillsExcellent planning, analytical, organization and problem-solving skillsProficient in design (CAD/Revit), presentation, rendering, or similar toolsFamiliarity with and ability to understand and interpret applicable building codes, local, and regional lawsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)Prior Experience as a Workplace Test Fit Manager, Strategist, Design Program Manager, or Real Estate PlannerPortfolio PDF or web link to body of workSelf-starter and capable individual contributorKnowledge of current workplace trends and best practicesThinks critically and creatively about how to regularly improve process and operationsExtremely proactive, responsive, and upbeat with strong organizational skillsDemonstrated success in managing multiple projects, priorities, and people concurrently in a fast-paced, high growth, and results driven environmentPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,800 and $268,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
