Workforce Policy AnalystProSidian is seeking a Workforce Policy Analyst for Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis, and Convening Support. This is a contract contingent basis, mid-Atlantic, Washington DC position supporting a branch of DOE that leverages science and technology to address energy, environmental, and nuclear challenges, advancing climate and energy policies through strategic studies and policy analysis supporting analytical capabilities.The Workforce Policy Analyst will provide services and support in the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector focusing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy (DOE | OP) | DOE Office of Policy (OP). This position may convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.Responsibilities and Duties:The Workforce Policy Analyst will analyze and evaluate workforce policies to ensure alignment with energy and economic goals.
They will organize and facilitate convenings with labor and workforce stakeholders to test and validate policy assumptions. They will provide public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting, and report development, data tracking tools, workforce policy analysis and convening, as well as energy market economic and regulatory analysis technical consulting services and support for the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP). These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.Qualifications:Candidates for Workforce Policy Analyst must possess expertise in their respective field, with experience in energy, policy, and technical consulting.
They must possess domain expertise, technical proficiency, and experience in related fields. Typically, candidates require a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.Key skills for Workforce Policy Analyst include analytical thinking, proficiency in data analysis tools, strong communication abilities, and subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains.Competencies for Workforce Policy Analyst include problem-solving ability, adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of energy sector operations.The Workforce Policy Analyst role may involve cross-functional collaboration and participation in high-level DOE strategy discussions. This role is estimated to be engaged as part-time analyzing workforce policy impacts, often periodic or demand-based.
Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the individuals who will be actively completing work on this contract or reviewing documents related to our operations must either be cleared (Secret Fcl / Top Secret Fcl) or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance (i.e. DOE Q).
