This is a leadership role ideal for someone with strong people management skills and a passion for optimizing team performance-no prior law firm experience required.
Position Overview
The Workflow Administrator Lead will manage a team of 6-8 paralegals, ensuring efficient coordination between paralegals and attorneys. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality client service, resolving escalated issues, and supporting the Managing Attorney in departmental operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 6-8 paralegals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight
- Coordinate workflow and task distribution between paralegals and attorneys to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
- Monitor team productivity and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated client concerns, ensuring resolution with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Attorney to support departmental goals and initiatives
- Track and report on team performance metrics and workflow status
- Facilitate regular team meetings and training sessions to promote collaboration and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing and leading teams (minimum 3 years preferred)
- Strong organizational and workflow coordination skills (bonus if experienced in workflow management systems)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in client-facing situations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership style
- No law firm experience required—training will be provided
