To support the New Business Underwriting Team, the full-time Workers' Compensation Underwriter will evaluate and underwrite new business submissions, assess risk factors, and deliver exceptional customer service while working remotely. Key responsibilities Underwrite new business submissions by reviewing and evaluating them according to carrier guidelines and service standards Analyze risk characteristics and apply underwriting judgment to support profitable business decisions Provide timely and professional responses to agent inquiries, building positive relationships with agency partners Required qualifications 2+ years of recent experience in Workers' Compensation customer service or underwriting support Solid understanding of Workers' Compensation concepts, including class codes and basic underwriting principles Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and assess risk factors effectively Self-motivated and disciplined in a remote work environment Excellent organizational and time-management skills
