The firm is open to reviewing candidates with any level of experience in Workers Compensation Defense or Insurance Coverage, and the position offers remote flexibility.Key Requirements:Experience with workers' compensation defense (open to a range of backgrounds)Strong legal research, writing, and litigation skillsFamiliarity with insurance coverage or WC carrier-side workComfortable working on matters involving a national carrier providing excess reimbursement policies to qualified self-insuredsResponsibilities:Handle legal matters related to workers' compensation defenseConduct in-depth legal research and analysisDraft legal documents, including memoranda, motions, and briefsProvide legal counsel to clientsRepresent clients in hearings and trials, as neededQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degreeActive California bar admissionProven ability to work independently and collaborate with legal teamsDemonstrated interest or experience in workers' compensation and/or insurance defense
