Workers' Compensation Attorney

Our client, a cutting-edge law firm specializing in workers' compensation defense, is seeking a dedicated Workers' Comp Attorney to join their team. This full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely from locations such as the Central Valley, Fresno, and beyond.
As a Workers' Compensation Attorney, you will work in a primarily remote environment, with as-needed travel for meetings, depositions, and appearances.
Daily Objectives
Manage the WC defense process from inception through resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation
Work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators
Utilize attorney-led technology built for WC cases, including AI-driven solutions
Take and defend depositions
Advocate for clients at hearings, mandatory settlement conferences, and trials
Skills & Experience
At least 1 year of WC experience (applicant or defense side)
Active license and in good standing with the California State Bar
Juris Doctorate degree
Strong research, analytical, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and oral communication
Commitment to proactive case management
