  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution, including hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Sullivan to stay current on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and correspondence with precision and clarity
  • Advocate for clients during hearings and mediations by presenting compelling arguments supported by evidence and legal precedent
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and facilitate case development
  • Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements within law office standards
  • Provide expert guidance on workers' compensation laws, policies, and procedures to clients and internal teams
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction with active bar membership
  • Proven experience in workers' compensation law with a strong understanding of related legal areas such as personal injury law, litigation, and legal research methodologies
  • Excellent writing skills complemented by precise legal drafting abilities
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
