The Essentials:
- Schedule: 32 hours per week | Monday-Friday
- Location: Fairlawn, OH
- Specialties: Workers' Compensation
- Communicates with patients, MCO's, employers, attorneys, therapists and staff. They complete all Workers Compensation forms.
- Correctly completes assigned forms relating to workers compensation which may include First Report of Injury (FROI), motions; approvals for surgeries, evaluations, treatments; faxes and/or processes forms as needed; handles related phone calls.
- Receives and determines appropriate steps to resolve Workers' Compensation calls from patients, MCO's, Employers, attorneys, clinicians and staff.
- Maintains familiarity with Ohio BWC website in order to research information.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One-year prior experience in a Workers' Compensation department or medical office preferred.
