Workday Senior Integration EngineerThe Workday Senior Engineer designs, develops, and sustains complex Workday integrations and solutions that support Cardinal Health’s enterprise HR and business operations. This role applies advanced technical expertise to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions with enterprise-wide impact, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and mentoring other engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design, development, and support of complex Workday integrations across HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Security, and downstream enterprise systemsDeliver and support enterprise initiatives including Workday Public Cloud Migration, Workday Everywhere, EDM, and vendor integrationsBuild and maintain secure, scalable integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, CIC+, APIs, and SSOPartner with HRIT, Security/IAM, Network, Infrastructure, and external vendors to ensure compliant, reliable, and performant solutionsPerform impact analysis, remediation, and bulk updates related to tenant migrations, reference ID alignment, URL changes, and security updatesEstablish and enhance integration standards, monitoring, error handling, and support processes to reduce operational riskSupport production cutovers, post-production stabilization, and ongoing enhancementsLead and support M&A integrations, including coordination and ongoing operations across dual Workday tenantsDesign and implement Workday Orchestrations to automate complex business processes and integration workflowsLeverage Workday Extend to build and support custom applications that complement core Workday and integration solutionsAct as a technical mentor, providing guidance, reviews, and best-practice recommendationsQualifications8–12 years of experience, preferredBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferredWhat Is Expected of You and Others at This LevelApplies advanced technical knowledge and understanding to manage and lead complex, high-impact projectsIndependently determines implementation approaches while receiving guidance on overall objectivesParticipates in and influences the development of standards, policies, and proceduresRecommends new practices, processes, metrics, or modelsWorks on or leads projects of large scope with significant and long-term impactDelivers solutions that may set technical or operational precedentActs as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
