Workday Functional Consultant (HCM & Core HR)
Pay rate: $80 $90/hr on C2C
Location: Hybrid (Minneapolis, MN 2 Days On-Site / 3 Days Remote)
Duration: 6 Months
Engagement: Corp-to-Corp (C2C) or W2
Work authorization: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, H1B
Client: Major US retail corporation (name confidential until shortlisting - standard US staffing practice)
What you will do:
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional configurations inside Workday.
- Conduct end-to-end testing, resolve configuration issues during biannual feature updates, and guide user adoption.
- Partner with HR operations to resolve production escalations and access provisioning requests.
What you will bring:
- 7+ years in Workday configuration with deep expertise in Core HCM, Compensation, and Onboarding.
- Practical experience creating Custom Organizations, Supervisory Orgs, and Business Process Framework (BPF).
- Strong skills in Calculated Fields, Custom Reports, Matrix Reports, and EIB mass data loads.
- Knowledge of integration touchpoints between Workday, payroll providers, and Active Directory.
