Workday Extend DeveloperLocation: Remote (Must be in the U.S., preferred location: Chicago, IL) Duration: 6 months (possible extension based on performance) Interview Process: Teams interview (one round – skills-based)We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Workday custom applications and extensions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday Extend and Workday Integrations, with a deep understanding of Workday architecture and integration capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, design, and implement custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend.Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.Ensure seamless integration with Workday functional modules and third-party systems.Develop and maintain technical documentation (design specifications, test plans, and user guides).Perform unit testing and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Extend applications.Stay updated on Workday releases and recommend enhancements.Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).QualificationsMust-Have Skills & Experience:Workday Extend Development (2-3 years)Workday Integrations (2-3 years)Strong JavaScript, XML, and XSLT experienceAgile methodology experienceExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a collaborative team environmentNice-to-Have Skills:Workday PRISMWorkday StudioFamiliarity with REST and SOAP APIsKnowledge of HR processes and systemsWorkday Extend Certification (preferred)Education:Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldIndustry Experience:Workday Extend development experience in HR implementations is required. Candidates without direct Workday Extend experience in HR will not be considered.
