Work Study Trail Crew
BSU's Fitness Center is available to currently enrolled BSU students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Trail Crew will perform physically demanding outdoor trail maintenance in wet, cold, hot and/or dirty conditions. Responsibilities include sawing, digging, raking, lifting, dragging, pruning, mowing grass, and other duties as assigned. Eligibility requirements include being a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester and having a Work Study award in your financial aid package.
Preferred qualifications include the ability to work outdoors in any season/weather conditions, suitable clothing including long-sleeved shirts, work pants, and protective boots, experience in trail maintenance or landscaping, and knowledge of the use of trail tools such as loppers, shovels, handsaws, and cutter mattocks.
This position may require strenuous physical labor outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
