Leading a dedicated team, the full-time WordPress Updates Team Leader will manage WordPress updates for high-traffic client sites, ensuring safe and efficient processes while providing guidance and training to team members in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities: Oversee the Updates Team, distributing assignments and ensuring timely completion of tasks Determine safe update schedules for plugins and WordPress core, minimizing disruptions to client sites Conduct post-update quality assurance testing and troubleshoot any arising issues Required qualifications: Advanced knowledge of WordPress and the update process Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on web hosting and SFTP Experience in team leadership or management Proficiency in PHP, CSS, and/or JavaScript Active involvement in the WordPress community or contributions to plugins/themes
