Woodhull Medical Center, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Sign On Bonus Eligible

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate partner of Health and Hospitals, in the Department of Anesthesia at Woodhull Medical Center.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Core Values and incorporates them into performance duties.
• Attends in-service training programs, conferences, and departmental meetings to keep abreast of current knowledge in anesthesiology and improve patient care.
• Performs appropriate pre‑anesthesia assessment and post‑anesthesia evaluation and follow‑up of the patient.
• Performs invasive arterial/venous cannulations and monitors vital functions, including blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and fluid volume.
• Performs life support functions during the period in which anesthesia is administered, including induction and intubation procedures.
• Administers general/regional and local anesthesia for patients undergoing surgical and obstetrical procedures on an elective or emergency basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current NYS RN License.
• CRNA Certification or GRNA certificate with letter qualifying to sit for the national boards.
• Advanced degree in Nursing required.
• 4–5 years of similar experience required.
• Must be comfortable working rotating shifts.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Salary

The salary range for this role is $267,416.00 – $267,416.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
