Wood WorkerWe are looking for a skilled and reliable wood worker to perform various tasks involving the cutting, shaping, and other work necessary to prepare wood products for final use. The ideal candidate will have some experience with woodworking and be able to follow instructions in order to complete tasks safely and quickly. You should be able to work with little supervision and stay calm in a busy workshop.ResponsibilitiesWork with saws, drills, grinders, sanders, and other equipmentCut, shape, and shape wood products according to instructionsAdjust machines and tools to ensure proper operation of machines and toolsClean work areas and tools after each jobInspect machines and tools for defects or scratchesMaintain a clean working environmentKeep work area organized and cleanReport any issues or concerns to supervisors or managersQualificationsExperience with woodworking is preferred but not required.
We will train the right person if you have experience but we will not pay for training. Knowledge of basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Basic computer skills including the ability to navigate websites for information.
