Join Virginia’s largest full-scope midwifery group! Our practice is seeking to add a compassionate, collaborative, and clinically skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to our practice located in central Virginia. The CMG Women's Center is a highly successful hospital-owned practice that employs Certified Nurse-Midwives and Nurse Practitioners, serving a diverse population. Services include comprehensive healthcare across the lifespan, including antepartum through postpartum care, as well as gynecologic services such as reproductive and wellness care for women and non-binary individuals. Procedures may include IUD/Nexplanon insertion or removal, diaphragm fittings, birth biopsy, and saline-infused sonograms. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine physical and annual well woman exams
- Provide birth control consultation and placement services
- Manage menstrual cycle and related issues
- Perform STI testing
- Conduct initial infertility work‑up
- Manage perimenopause and menopause
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
- Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
- Maintains BLS and ACLS certifications
- Active registered nurse license in Virginia or current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse
- Nationally recognized certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
