Wolfe Eye Clinic Vitreoretinal Specialist - West Des Moines

Position Summary

We are searching for a fellowship trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our retina practice. The position will be based in West Des Moines, Iowa. Our Central Iowa retina staff includes 4 retina surgeons and 2 retina fellows. The new associate can expect to see full clinics.

Practice Overview

Our central Iowa vitreoretinal surgeons perform approximately 9,000 intravitreal injections and 225 surgical cases each year. Clinics utilize state‑of‑the‑art ophthalmic imaging equipment and are staffed by experienced retinal imaging technicians. Referral relationships are well established with our organization and the successful candidate will be provided opportunities and assistance to continue to build and strengthen these relationships.

Compensation and Partnership

The Wolfe Eye Clinic is a physician‑owned vertically integrated eye care practice. This is a partnership track position; average physician compensation is typically in the top 10% nationally. The practice has equal ownership across the physician shareholders and is managed on a democratic basis with one vote per physician. Qualifications

• Fellowship trained vitreoretinal specialist.
• Strong surgical interest and skills.
• Eligible to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the State of Iowa.
