Position Overview

We are searching for a fellowship trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our retina practice in Spencer, Iowa. The senior retina specialist who will be retiring creates an opening for an associate expected to see full clinics.

The practice has a steady growth pattern, performing 9,000 intravitreal injections and 225 surgical cases per year, using state‑of‑the‑art ophthalmic imaging equipment and staffed by experienced retinal imaging technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform intravitreal injections and vitreoretinal surgical cases.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in full retina clinics.
• Build and strengthen referral relationships.
• Utilize advanced imaging and surgical techniques.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained vitreoretinal surgeon with strong surgical interest and skills.
• Eligibility to obtain an unrestricted medical license in Iowa.
