Wisconsin SSI Eligibility Specialist

To support the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families, the full-time remote Wisconsin SSI Eligibility Specialist will conduct eligibility reviews, manage SSI applications, and collaborate with case workers to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Key responsibilities: Conduct electronic eligibility reviews for youth entering care and annually thereafter Complete and file SSI applications, including appeals for denials as necessary Maintain positive communication with SSA and provide training for case workers Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of relevant work experience Ability to understand and interpret federal and state laws and regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
