Remote Part Time Healthcare Practitioners and Technical Occupations

To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, the part-time Wisconsin Licensed Coding Auditor will perform coding quality audits, monitor billing and documentation accuracy, and provide education to coding teams and healthcare providers in a remote, flexible schedule environment. Key responsibilities: Conducts compliance monitoring and auditing of coding and documentation for various healthcare services to ensure adherence to regulations Prepares compliance audit reports and assists in responding to external audits and inquiries from oversight agencies and payers Educates coders and providers on documentation requirements and coding compliance, while staying updated on regulatory changes Required qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred Minimum three years of experience in hospital coding Minimum two years of experience in clinical medical audit review Current or obtained within one year of hire - Certified Coding Credential from AHIMA or AAPC Current or obtained within one year of hire - Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist from ACDIS
