The Wiring Specialist will perform electrical assembly and wiring activities for panelboards and other wired electrical solutions in a manufacturing environment. The role involves working from wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering specifications to assemble electrical components, wire connections, build wire harnesses, and ensure products meet quality and production requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working with wiring diagrams, schematics, and other wiring activities.
- Ability to perform detailed electrical assembly and wiring tasks.
- Ability to follow engineering specifications and production instructions.
- Commitment to quality, workplace safety, and accurate documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional educational or vocational training.
- Experience assembling and wiring electrical panels or panelboards.
- Experience with terminal blocks, wire harnesses, circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and switches.
- Familiarity with electrical testing, including GFI testing.
- Experience with manufacturing quality procedures and production documentation.
- Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
