Electrical Systems TechnicianIn this position, you'll build, install, and prepare wiring and electrical systems on equipment prior to shipment. We're looking for someone who brings strong communication skills and thrives in a team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:Pre wire equipment with junction boxes and wiring connections per wiring schematics.Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical devices.Builds and installs control and control equipment such as switches, relays.Connects power cables to equipment.Operate lift truck with certification.Other duties assigned due to the need of the business.Skills and Abilities:Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.Computer and ERP system familiarity.Organized, proactive, and detail oriented.Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.Must be able to pass a physical capacity profile and drug screen.Physical/Environmental Requirements:Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and moving machinery.Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs occasionally.Education, Knowledge, and Experience:Technical degree- preferred.
