Integrating custom radio hardware into drone connectivity architecture, the full-time Associate Wireless Software Engineer will write and maintain software routines across Linux user space and driver layers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize wireless communication for autonomous fleets in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Integrate off-the-shelf and custom radio hardware into Wi-Fi and cellular stacks Write, test, and maintain software routines using C, C++, and Python Develop automated routines to analyze wireless link performance metrics Required qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field Foundational programming skills in C, C++, and Python Experience in Linux environments and understanding of networking concepts Practical exposure to wireless communications or microcontrollers through academic or personal projects Familiarity with wireless standards like 802.11 or 5G is a plus
