Wireless Test Engineer IILong-Term ContractEnglewood, CO (50% Onsite. 50% Remote)We are seeking a Wireless Network Test Engineer to join our Customer Provided Equipment WiFi Development team in our Englewood, CO office. Ideally, we are looking for an engineer with strong RF skills who is motivated to learn new testing tools and is willing to troubleshoot field issues.Job Description: You will be working inside the Wi-Fi Team for our client, supporting Customer Provided Equipment (CPE Devices/routers) testing and development.

As a member of the Firmware and Feature Development Team, you will be working to create test tools that allow our WiFi engineers to certify features as they are developed on routers. This job requires intrinsic motivation, flexibility, and a willingness and desire to learn more about upcoming WiFi features.ResponsibilitiesWorking with WiFi engineers to understand testing requirements for new features.Understanding of the capabilities and operations of test equipment.Translating testing requirements into test cases using test equipment.Contributing to the development of a new test case development platform.Supporting new and existing test case execution including triaging and resolving bugs.Ability to work hands on in the lab for several hours a weekRequired Skills:Electrical Engineering DegreeStrong technical backgroundStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work with members across teams.Desirable to have but NOT Required:Basic understanding of WiFi standards, RF, Signal processing and networking.Basic understanding of Routing and Switching1+ years’ experience programming in Python or similar language.User level familiarity with any Linux OS, Ubuntu or CentosOS/RHL preferredFamiliarity with Octoscope/ Keysight test equipment.Understanding of test-driven development practicesFamiliarity working in an Agile environmentBachelors or higher in computer science, engineering, or Physics
