Windows AdministratorThe Windows Administrator will manage the Windows environment under the direction of the manager and participate in initiatives across multiple IT related divisions within the organization.
Responsibilities include the installation and configuration of windows servers, configuration (policies, users, server resources), execution of assigned system maintenance activities, and monitor the general operation of the Windows environment.ResponsibilitiesWork with application teams on upgrading Windows serversImplement server GPOs related to security hardeningAssist in the creation of IT systems standard operating proceduresPerform system maintenance activities as assignedPerform investigation and triage of incidentsMaintain system security according to prescribed standards and processesMonitor system performance and overall IT enterprise healthSkills & QualificationsMinimum five years of experience with Windows server administrationMinimum three years of experience with Active Directory, DNS, and GPOsMinimum three years of experience upgrading Windows server operating systemsMinimum one year experience with VMware deploying virtual machinesDemonstrates organizational skills and self-starting including the ability to plan work activities and stay on scheduleFriendly and approachableUnderstands change management and can articulate the importance of sameExcellent communications skills working with multiple IT applications teams
