Winder OperatorOur customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Winder Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Winder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating winding machines to roll materials onto spools, ensuring consistent tension, quality, and proper winding procedures, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Responsibilities of the Winder Operator:Set up machinery according to job specifications, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to lean strategies.Log production data, close open work orders, and transfer orders to finished goods for shipping.Read work orders or production schedules to determine materials, cutting lines, dimensions, and tolerances.Operate machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic materials.Inspect completed workpieces for defects and measure them to ensure they meet specifications.Safely prepare materials for shipping, ensuring proper identification, tagging, and wrapping.Requirements and Qualifications:Ability to stack finished goods onto pallets.Ability to read and comprehend instructions effectively.Proficiency in written correspondence and communication.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret bar graphs.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide various units of measurement.Ability to problem-solve effectively.Pay for Winder Operator: $17-$18/hour.Winder Operator Benefits:Health insurance401k with company matchPaid weeklyDirect depositPaid trainingType: 2nd Shift, Full-timeSchedule: Monday – Friday from 2:00pm – 12:30am with possible OT on Saturday
